Canyon View High School Aims to Change Education by Reshaping Space

Metropolis magazine outlines how our approach for Canyon View High School pushes beyond traditional models of teaching and creates a flexible, community-focused high school that responds to student needs and fosters independent learning.

Beyond the building itself, the designers worked to highlight the importance of user health and experience in a sustainable space. The firm’s VALUES (Viewing Architecture through the Lens of User Experience for Sustainability) metric system, covers a range of topics from indoor air quality to community access and visual and thermal comfort.
